Michael and I haven’t been up to much this last week. Our main priority was to see his family, and more specifically his grandparents. Part of the reason we started our RVing adventure on the East coast was to see his family a bit more, and we were thankful for the opportunity.
Although we do have a great story to tell about visiting his grandparents at the old folk’s home. We were sitting in a living room, visiting with his grandparents when another resident danced her way into the room. I have no idea how old she was, eighties or older, and we offered her a chair, but she danced her way over to Michael and plopped a seat right next to him on the couch.
And we could have never prepared ourselves for what came next! The moment she sat down next to Michael, she was under his spell! She kept telling me she would steal him away from me! Talk about competition! She sat there rubbing his thigh, completely enamored with Michael. Prying him away from her was so hard! But we eventually got ourselves away. Now it’s our great story! And I can tease him endlessly about his new love!
We’ve enjoyed eating at a couple of restaurants that I’ll mention in next week’s blog post since Michael and I might go back to eat there some more.
Now, all we have to do is figure out what we want to do next Saturday before we leave for Memphis, TN on Sunday! Decisions, decisions, decisions!
