New Orleans, Louisiana - Week 4

Michael and I had wanted to go on a Swamp Boat Tour, but with all the cold weather we figured it might not be worth the time or money. We would’ve loved to see a wild alligator, but as they are cold-blooded, they may not have been very active. Perhaps we will get back down to New Orleans to do it. Instead, we chose to stay up late on Friday night and sleep in on Saturday!

On Sunday, we packed up the RV, which didn’t take too long thanks to Michael doing some outside chores, and me doing some inside chores and headed off to Dallas. Surprisingly, the journey was relatively uneventful. We even got to Dallas without feeling bone tired… just shows that doing a little hard work the day before can really pay off!

By the way, we stayed at Poche Plantation RV Park, and we highly recommend it! A five star review will be coming from us on Google and on Allstays! The internet was amazing… so amazing that Lily was able to play xbox live. The park can be a bit hard to find during the day and the night due to small signage, but there’s a small church down the road you can pull into, if you get lost.

That’s it! A pretty basic post, but I will try to get all of the New Orleans photos posted today. Tomorrow at the latest if the internet ends up being an issue, but I can’t see that being a problem since the internet where were are staying is fantastic!

We can’t wait to share what we explore in Dallas, Texas with all of you. Michael is getting Friday off and a half-day on Wednesday, so we have a lot of exploring days ahead of us! Yay!
